Intel is getting much more for then than AMD gets for their XP. That's a good thing if you're an investor. 1. hehehe...Only Elmer and a few others with blinders can rationalize:"On a price/performance basis P4 is Waaaaaaaay ahead."...Ranks up there with Elmer's most absurds"... "In a normal fab it would yield about 1/2 what Athlon would yield in that same fab." hehehe...but Elmer states: "AMD yields are poor" "I can't compare the 2 because I happen to know exactly what Intel's yields are for everything they make and that prohibits me from saying anything about anything regarding Intel's yields." heheh...the usual Elmer copout... "What I can tell you is what should be coming out of AMD's F30 based on capacity and die size compared to other "World Class" fabs as Jerry called it. For whatever reason, they are selling about 1/2 what they should be able to produce. No matter what excuse you use it's not good." Elmer, what you pretend to know about INTC and what you know about AMD are equivalent...Zero, Zilch...(As I've said before, the dangerous person is the person who thinks he knows and doesn't...)
