OWN,
It is a great ranting. World has two different justices and it is nothing new. Rich and powerful will always have a different justice than average and poor joes. It is universal.
I have seen this in many countries.
If you have power and money you can buy even US supreme court!.
I have no hope that it will change easily and any time soon.

I don't discuss politics at SI anymore, but you don't sound like a Republican!

Hi Own,
GW is no poster boy for having done it on his own.The spoon stuck in his mouth is silver.

I agree with your excellent post.

They may have missed busting down the doors in Enron - but I do hope they hand out a pound of cure to Enron Management and the crooked accounting profession.

I know many accountants and the main stream are extremely solid and conservative. It appears to me that Enron had "Rotten to the core mores" and that environment is fostered by the top leadership. An accounting firm that doesn't blow the whistle on that, when encountered is either equally corrupt or just as bad grossly incompetent.

Either way I'm hopeful that this group of thieves gets made an example of. Our equities market's require a genuine revitalization of their credibility with accountability.
