DMX isn't alone in having a bad year,...this link shows how other biotechs are doing, by category.

Cal, thanks for your thoughts, and your cautions -

I'm not really interested in being a perpetual player in the SH Silly School. There is a long-established list of players, and I'm not a joiner.

DMX will make it, or not, on its own. In the end, the reams of words written here and at SH will mean nothing.

Nor am I interested in being a True Believer, a Defender of the Faith. Believe it or not, there is no cynical perception posted at SH, that I have not considered.

So what's it about?

Imagination. The discussion list of reasons for the inability of DMX to get to market is VERY short. Generally, it's managerial incompetence. Lately, they have taken a hard right into management dishonesty.

Really boring stuff, repeated endlessly. No creativity! Bash the company, bash REK, bash MB, bash the longs.

Easy stuff, but the standard bashing ignores the other realities that are out there. The posters who seek to polarize opinion (consciously or otherwise) may not have realized how difficult it is to defend yourself when the eye of suspicion is turned on them.

How does it feel, suddenly, to have everything you say looked at with suspicion, and derision? How does it feel, suddenly, to have innocent words misconstrued, and everything interpreted in the WORST possible light?

How does it feel when innuendo, paranoia, and suspicion are turned on you? When nothing you say will convince anyone that you are sincere, and honest in your words?

Does it make you feel, perhaps, a little like REK?

And when these posters have considered the why of all DMX's troubles, have they really thought it out?

Pardon me if I missed it, but I have yet to see the spectre of political/competitive interference even raised, (never mind discussed) on either of these boards - except by MB.

Is it a zero probability that such interference exists?

No.

Nobody on SH has answered my question: Who, at HC leaked the info on DMX's NON - before the public knew? Who violated confidentiality, and started the selloff in early January?

Is it possible that DMX has been obstructed as much (or more) by others, as it has by management's supposed incompetence?

Yes.

So that is the reasoning behind my outburst.

Before we start thinking that questions prove anything - I think we have found out they do not. Asking questions proves nothing - but it can create a powerful air of doubt, suspicion and negativity.

I'm hoping that everyone will see that DMX faces a much more complex web of opposition than the short, easy explanation of REK's supposed incompetence.

And I'm hoping that the posters who plaster the web with their easy explanations see how vicious and difficult it can be when the eye of suspicion is turned on them, as they have turned it on others.

Simply slamming REK is just too easy, even when it's correct. Everybody needs to cut a little more slack, to look a little deeper, and see a little farther.

There are powerful forces out there, and they're not running a welcome party for DMX, Pennsaid, Fungoff, or WF10.
