Yes, the memories are flooding back now, forget the gas tank story, perhaps I should tell about the first time I tried to write an "out of state cheque" -g-

an excerpt
"What do you mean you don't accept "Out of State Cheques", this is the frigging USA isn't it?...As in "United States"?? What's wrong my goddam cheque, if you don't like it, ring 'em up and see if I have enough in my account to clear it"

Concerned USA citizen, who wishes bill to be paid thinks...
Oh my God, it's a friggin foreign limey!!! what do I do now?? is he just plain mad or what?

You should try changing loonies into pesos mexicanos, you'd think you had it made ... no one will do it directly, they all want to change loonies to USD, then USD to pesos ... well they will do it directly but it's approaching that four per cent you mention, doing the double exchange totals up to about two and a half per cent ... even with a canadian chartered bank that owns a chunk of a banco mexicano - go figure ... [although this may have changed by now, was supposed to by now, actually] [that's bmo.to-Bancomer] [i don't like Bancomer]

But really i came over looking for heinz blasnik to invite him to - #Subject-52403 ... because he has in the past mentioned the odd junior, there may be other players here as well [patrón?] ... not up on this thread lately, well all juniors players welcome, especially critical old bitter hardcase ones, the more the better, project is to run the puppy on hot subjects in honour of chinese new year which comes tuesday - ¡kung hay fat choy!

ps - did anyone here know that ge had 9,930,000,000 shares out? ... i didn't until today ... crack me up, or what
