I've given up trying to understand his Q currency. We have to pay our taxes with the US dollar, so it will remain our currency.

Oh DAK! Have some imagination. Just as Uncle Al adjusts the monetary supply of $ so that parity with hourly rates and CPI remains constant, the Q could be adjusted on a similar basis.

People would soon learn what a Q was worth, just as they know, within a fairly wide range, what a $ is worth in hours of their work.
