The very thing, yes ... i remember this one a few years ago, there was talk of it on some SI thread ... another outfit has their ticker eng.v now, sounds like they are a tich disenchanted with one of our legendary wet coast ho'houses -

'Letter from the President
August 13, 1999

Engineer Mining Corp regrets to inform you that our involvement with
Yorkton Securities has come to an end due to Yorkton's inability to honor
their commitment to sell the Initial Public Offering. Consequently, we have let
the current VSE listing application through Yorkton lapse as of August 6,
1999. Presently, the Directors are continuing with their efforts to take
Engineer Mining Corp. public and are discussing sponsorship with other
security companies. We feel that the involvement of a different lead broker
and a different brokerage firm is in the best interest of our investors.

.. worth watching once they get rolling maybe, run by contractors and not promoters ... [not that contractors don't promote, in fact they don't get anywhere if they don't, it's just that they periodically do some real work as well, force of habit perhaps]

Beautiful country, yes for sure ... a lot of mining country is, in the 'before' picture anyway ... it can be sad .. it can also be well-done, reclaimed reseeded and reborn to be beautiful again for our progeny .... in one of the most recent Canadian Geographic magazines there is an article on Redfern's Tulsequah Chief project, the road to it will go right along an ancient trail, there are people who object strongly to this, understandably ... this is right in your backyard, the article may be on CG's website, i think it's canadiangeographic.ca

[edit] - wrong, it's in Beautiful British Columbia magazine, which doesn't have a website
[edit 2] - maybe does, try hellobc.com
[edit 3] - no, beautifulbc.ca
