Any idea how long the Enron hearings will last Don?

I'm thinking maybe 1700 on the Nasdaq as a potential bottom although it could go lower.

AMAT will have good earnings in my estimation but their outlook will be even more important. There are not many companies coming through with tremendous sounding guidance.

I do believe that by the time the next semi book-to-bill numbers are announced (they should show improvement) that another short term bottom will be in allowing a relatively safe opportunity for us to profit from trading the range.

Don,
I see this "Enron" saga just as an excuse to go short. A "nicely" induced panic. I just do hope that some of those shorting bozos will have a hard time covering their positions once the public realizes that this is not a general problem "embedded" in the foundations of the world economy but rather just another bankruptcy, albeit a larger one..
