Henry, >.fine in theory but I see a few faults in that as an arguement for why gold itself will rally. Sorry, did not intend to argue for a raise in the price of gold. Disagree with you that the common person has knowledge of investments to protect the value of their capital. Spent some time last summer in "rural" parts of a country where the currency has devalued against the US$ and these people did not have available locally foreign currency accounts. My perception of the world and asset protection is certainly different than yours. <g> Joan
