KLP; Liz was ranting about the cats always getting in the house and she said "I WANT YOU TO BUILD A CAT HOUSE!!!!". I was both thrilled and shocked at her unusually understanding request and I said "AWWWWRRRIIIIIIIGHT!!!". Then she said "Not THAT kind of cat house!". Well, I built it anyway. The first floor has 2 bedrooms and a great room with a cathedral ceiling. The second floor has 2 bedrooms. It has w/w carpeting throughout as well as light pine paneling. The outside is vinyl siding with an architect shingle roof. The front porch deck had to be milled to scale and it has an 8/12 shingled roof over it to match the main house. The porch columns are wood and the little vinyl shutters on the front door are black to match the mail box. The roof is removable and the second floor is on hinges for easy cleaning. The cat pictures on the interior walls are of their ancestors. The raccoons seem to be a little jealous 'cause the keep knocking over the mailbox. My dogs house is a little nicer. I'm bricking it.cb
