Roebear. Always been a big fan of your weather work and hope you continue with it whether you post it here or not. Not sure how many on the thread have been following any of the HIGHLY compensated professional forecasters like Joe Bastardi of Accuweather. But, quite frankly, my experience of the past several years has been that your long range winter forecasts have been ahead of his every year in both time and accuracy. And you've been kind enough to share your work free of charge here. This year? NOBODY got it right folks. Joe Bastardi forecasted one deep freeze after another that never happened. The reason was? The high level of solar activity. And Roebear brought that to our attention as well. BTW, the one good blast we did get in late Dec early Jan, was nailed before more than a week before Xmas by our friend Roebear. And ISO made a bundle in the gassers because of it between the week before Santa and end 1st wk of Jan when I was stopped out. I owe you one buddy. Thanks again. Don't be too hard on yourself. If any of us quit after a few trades went against us, nobody here would have lasted through their 1st year in this game<g> Or as Peter Lynch succinctly once put, "Not all my ideas work".
