I bought a 128 MB Ultra CompactFlash for $99.99 yesterday.

The February 12, 2002 issue of PC Magazine on page 30 has a short article on Sandisk's Ultra and Lexar's Professional Series CompactFlash memory. PC Magazine reported Lexar's Professional and Sandisk's Ultra CompactFlash both had similar and significantly shorter writing times when compared with standard CompactFlash memory and used in Canon D30 and S40 cameras. However, there was no improvement in writing times when these premium CompactFlash card were used in an Olympus E-20N because its controller limits the writing speed.
