Dipy: pcstel, a couple of years ago, I was talking about overvaluation on the CSCO and LSI threads. Nope, it was of no use. Great! Well, I can tell you I know NOTHING about CSCO and LSI! You obviously are much more versed on those issues than I. And I can guarantee you that I am much more versed on Qualcomm than you! Not trying to be braggadocios or anything. I just understand my strengths and weakneses. Anything that does not have Qualcomm touching it is a weakness of mine. Don't get me wrong. I made a lot of money off of this company for the couple years I held it! And I have made money on the short side of it. Made lots of money on the short side of Globalstar, lost money on the bonds up to this juncture. Beleive me, I am not perfect. I just shoot for a 51% proficiency rate! Believe me.. You can go on and on about this or that! I told the same story over a year ago! You can't save everyone! At least that is what I have found out! You can yell fire, and the fire bell will go off! Still some won't leave the building! That's the way it is! No matter how much time and energy you spend to try and convince them otherwise! Like I said. I know Qualcomm like you probably know CSCO and LSI. The only thing that will change the perception of this stock is the announcement that WCDMA is dead! You can analyse growth rates, or lack thereof, in India. And the price of tea in China ALL DAY LONG! I've seen this stock miss quarterly earnings numbers and rally 8 points over the next 7 days! Leaving my short position 6 points underwater. It's a story stock whose volume is carried close to the breast by many. Including many on Wall Street. Nothing will change that until the words are uttered. "3G is Dead" Sorry, No time to spell check.. Sun's goin' down. I still have 4 minutes to make it down to the beach for the sunset!
