Re. DELL is feeding them forward statements about guidance to buffer an irrational price decline if they say flat eps and sequentially down revenue for next Q.

That's a reasonable theory. Maybe Dell like the telecoms and CISCO are "seeing" flat sales following a Oct-Jan quarter of pretty strong sales. Isn't Q1 usually Dell's least strong Q? Hope you are right about buffering against a price decline following the earnings report. I think I'll close my Feb 25 puts sale before earnings - just in case.
