pezz -

Well I always thought that YTD meant the last 12 months . BTW is that wrong? anybody.

Year to Date, YTD, current calendar year, Jan. 1 to present.

Trailing Twelve Months, TTM, less commonly used or

Year over Year, YOY.

Regards, Don

No YTD is from the first of the year I think.... maybe I'm wrong? Today was good in Aus:

USD Portfolio SPX NDX
Feb Return 0.37% -3.01% -6.34%
YTD Return -0.97% -4.52% -7.94%
Return Since 1 October 2001 35.29% 5.31% 24.26%

News Corp went up 3% again after 5% on Friday - it became a leading indicator that day.

Everyone should invest in what they understand. I don't understand much about bonds except they go down when interest rates go up... and I don't know much about most small tech... apart from LOOK which is hardly tech. So I don't invest there... I don't know much about individual European or Asian stocks either so I focus on US and Australia, exchange rates etc....
