Don't be so sure. Didn't Milken do a little time AND pay a $500 million or so fine AND get barred from the securities business for life? And that, IMO, was on much less evidence of an actual crime than appears to exist in the Enron case. One or two of the mid-level guys caught up in the scam will get immunity and provide enough evidence to nail the rest.

Exactly what did these enron slimeballs do that was illegal? They were denizens of the great American way! They bought out the politicians! Including Lieberman and Hillary Clinton!
