Well, thanks for the info Marcos. Looks as though I had "Aztecs" right after all [good guess] <'azteca' is name of a gold coin, one ounce of three nines fine i believe, and nominally twenty pesos ... or maybe the azteca is smaller, the centenario of the Díaz era is one ounce for sure .... but sure, bedeck me in those aztecas Mqurice, and prop me up near the bar -g-> I owned some gold once, but lost it at the bottom of a lake in the north-east USA. At least paper money floats. Pixels and water don't mix, so the Q currency would be even safer. Maybe gold just seems like a lot of hard work to me and that's why I don't like it. We had a house with gold doorknobs [plating only] - didn't do much for me, but it was the best buy in the area at the time. Gold looks trashy and flashy. Maybe Aztecs are like that. Mqurice

The mexica name referred to the people of the Valle de México, and still does ... not long after the azteca arrived though, they assimilated and were calling themselves mexica, OK I got that now... - and they stopped when they saw an eagle with a snake in its claws sitting on a cactus, no? The story is a lot like the Jewish one - not quite as the bible tells it, but as it really was.... their language they call nahuatl, it is considered central to the living uto-azteca language family, the 'uto' part is related to the US state of Utah which is where they had most likely migrated from some centuries previous ... So Nahuatl wasn't the langauge of the Mexica in Valle de Mexico before the Azteca arrived? As there was no writing maybe we don't know for sure? they got 'avocado' wrong too - in nahuatl and maya the tree is called ahuacate That is pretty accurate by the standards of place names in the United States! long as PoG keeps making higher lows, like doesn't violate 275 by much for long, trend is my friend ... cheers I think it may fall below the lower uptrend line since last April - maybe 275 - which would be one of those magic Fibbonacci ratios.. then the real rally starts when stocks final go into a dive bombing/kamikaze run :) David
