QUALCOMM stock up nearly $3 = 8% on announcement of QUALCOMMode. Dr Schit up Schit Creek without a paddle as QUALCOMM answers his market manipulation with the best answer = more technology for huge markets.

QUALCOMM's multimode ASICs are gaining ground. With RadioOne, ASICs can be multiband and multimode so they are universally useful. They can be really small with half the components left out. RadioOne will sell for MORE than the replaced components because subscribers will pay a premium for the great little handsets with long battery life and colour screens with PacketVideo and other images which will work everywhere.

Multimode:

cdmaOne
cdma2000
1xRTT
Globalstar
W-CDMA
GSM
GPRS
Q-Commode

Multifrequency:

450MHz
PCS bands,
Cellular bands,
Twice a night,
Anytime minutes,
Tourist urgent [very common due to gastrointestinal disruption]
Globalstar bands
