TGPTNDR, did you read the rest of of the 2nd Inq link? According to SI, AMD started to use Solaris fairly recently and pulled in more resources yesterday morning following repeated pressure on the Web site. You can find details of the sequence of events at the AMD site by going to Netcraft and scrolling down the page. The SI thread starts here, with contributions from Reader of the Millennium Paul Engel. The circle of life continues. After the way the first Cobalt/Sun/AMD flirtation fizzled, I wouldn't hold my breath on this one.

TGPTNDR: Decided not to miss this AM...Picked up 100 Feb 15's...That Friday price turnaround convinced me that AMD is poised to run up a bit further, so bought in on this AM's weakness...
