A weblogger has this observation on the corporate funding of the Ruckus Society. "So, Unilever and other big corporations donated money to fund the Ruckus Society and other jerks to tear up downtown Seattle and other places. Gee, couldn't the residents and merchants and city governments of places like Seattle do a class action suit against the corporations for their part in causing all those substantial economic losses? Joint and several liability means that even if they're only a little bit responsible, they can be hit for all of the damages, after all." Another weblogger pointed out its no more asinine than those municipal gun law suits.
