Bond Ticker: Fed hike needed to lower yields
Briefing.com agrees with PIMCO superstar fund manager Bill Gross, who has argued that a Fed rate hike may be the only solution to bring down long-term yields. However, we would argue that the ENTIRE yield curve would likely benefit from such a move given the still-fragile nature of the US and global economy. In other words, if the Fed starts raising rates, asset allocation out of stocks and into bonds will be fast and furious.
