gst, hope doesn't cut it. there is a reason the judicial system is "lax" regarding white collar crime. would you be lenient with your friends and those in your circle? would you be harsh? it's easy to throw a homeless person in jail for life. it is harder to throw your neighbor in jail for life. the judicial system lacks one important element... justice. robbing the billions from employees and investors often yields less time than stealing a hot dog from 7-11 to feed your kid a couple of times. i remember one dude got lif in prison for the marginal crime of stealing food from a convenience store. i recall it was eventually overturned.
