More Info on brokers who permit options trading in IRA. sonic.net I moved my IRA from E*Trade to Dreyfus last year so I could buy puts and calls. Dreyfus is OK. No frills though. There is a Best Online Broker thread on SI. Subject 2951

After musing over the chicken entrails, it looks as if SnP = 972 is in the not too distant future. Why? did I hear you ask? Wellllll let me illuminate you, we have a long term H&S pattern with the left shoulder appearing during October 2001 and February 2002 for the right shoulder. I measure a hundred points as the amplitude, so that translates to ~970 on the Richter scale! Time is a big question. My assumption is that we keep sliding down the slippery slope until we get there.
