It carries the tone of the initial warning to those who may be thinking of providing a harbor for terrorists.

The reaction of the protesting Iranians is as much against the fundamentalist religious guard in Iran as it is against the comment of our President. It is very in your face but the Iranians have not been very vocal about where they stand. This brings them out in the open one way or the other.

It is unnerving any way you look at it. Status quo for the times.

I think I am changing my position on the Cheney's intransigence toward releasing the records on the energy policy meetings. Having seen the media spinning like crazy to create a political scandal for the Bush Administraiton in the very face of so much evidence to the contrary, I have begun to reconsider that maybe Cheney is correct. Even if there is nothing in those papers the demolibs and media will manufacture something they will try to sell the the dumbed down American public.
