Vad - I'm sure you have seen many times here that it is difficult for some people to understand that you can offer a service (like yours or those of some other notable posters) out of a desire to serve and to teach, and that the income is a byproduct that flows incidentally from the valuable service. As long as there are the likes of certain unmentionable frontrunning trading rooms, this will always be the case.

My opinions come from the experience of only just STARTING to learn how to trade after ignoring the multitude of books I had read and actually just watching the rhythm of the market unfold. Also I believe that you reach a threshold of experience where the views and techniques of others become a distraction, and you have to teach yourself. That's why I recommend just diving in to trading as a way of learning. Suppose it costs you $10-15 for every bad 100 share trade you make through IB? I think those are cheap but lasting lessons because you had money on the line and a heightened concentration and attention while in the trade. - Mike
