OT-i live on a Reach on the BarHarbor Peninsula on the DownEast Coast of Maine(right on the water)--Lynx's can rarely be seen as far south as the forest of NY-state---the Bobcat is much the more common here--but we have Lynx--and this was a Lynx--prime element of identification--solid tawny color---problem is to the north of my house is what is referred to as a deep forest corridor--as a result bears(rarely),moose(rarely),deer(commonly) will turn up in my back yard.We had a fierce wind storm and heavy icy rain last night,i figure this was a cold desperately hungry lynx to make an attack in daylight right in front of my house--this is first lynx i have ever sighted--and i am beginning to severely regret this moment. The cat is stilling missing--it's getting distressingly mysterious--i am now doing searches just for a body.Max
