No I have not heard anything from Mr. Hale, and frankly I do not expect to hear from him either (but please feel free to send him email and express your opinion of the matter if you would like to). I have a strong feeling Mr. Hale may have been under the impression that by sending that Letter to president Bush, he (and his team) might be viewed favorably by the Islamic regime of Iran for whatever reason (whether funding needs, or ????)... But then again I do not know and am basing my assumption totally on speculations! For all it may be, Mr. Hale may have simply been fascinated by the hospitality he had received while in Iran and was simply (and naively) thinking he was doing something good by sending that letter!
