The neighbor kitty corner from us had a cat like that. Somehow she persuaded it to bring her camellias instead. Honest.
The only problem is she's not quite sure how she did it. So maybe the cat figured she's be much more pleased with flowers than dead birds.

"Biography of a germ" is interesting. The first few chapters I found slow; they're essentially a history of biographies to justify this book. Then we get to the juicy parts. :-)

I'll take a look at your book. If Studs Turkel likes it, that's a high recommendation.
