Leave her alone, she's been in her own personal hell since Spring 2000.

Sun Tzu,

I personally feel that the cyclical bottom was last September. I bought it. Amazingly, those buys are positive. Net gain. Same for my buys in November.

The A/D line and New Lows both hit negative values that are only seen at major market low points. Since then, the A/D line has moved up smartly, and the small caps are leading the way higher. Virtually none of the clues suggest that this is the 3rd and final phase of a bear market. Only lagging indicators such as unemployment and media psychology are bearish.

You and many others don't think that was the bottom. I understand that. That's what makes a market.

Realize that for it to be a bottom, most people will not agree that it is indeed one until much, much, later. That's what makes a cyclical bull market- when the majority finally makes their mind up that the bottom is in the past and the market is going higher, then they start buying. Tepidly at 1st, then by the end, they're going on margin and taking out 2nd mortgages.

Market internals + Mass psychology + Analytical ability + trading skills = stock market profits.

That's my formula. It works for me- although it could certainly work better. So I'm always open to learning new aids.

Regards,
TW
