-- Don't look now, but Taiwan's PC and motherboard makers are jumping the gun by launching the first notebook computers, based on Intel Corp.'s unannounced mobile Pentium 4 microprocessor line.

This is almost getting funny. AMD was supposed to have an edge this year in mobiles and instead of waiting for them, notebook makers are crawling all over each other getting P4 based machines out there. And, they're using unreleased P4 mobiles or even desktop mobiles. I think the P4 has everyone's attention, to say the least. I would imagine that market share for AMD will continue to dribble, if not cascade, down.
