<font color=green>More than interesting, a must read.

I'm glad you posted it Mark.

As I was reading, I was clipping what I thought were items for review. It ended up over 5 pages.

A few clips, according to the article
seshaonline.org

From item 2 in table
2. Dermally or
Orally

FACTS 1. DMSO is virtually Non-Toxic to Humans and the Environment. It has
the Lowest Toxicity of any Dipolar Aprotic Solvents.
DMSO is ten (10) times lower in toxicity than NMP when measured by
several different methods.

2. DMSO is Not Unique – Most Chemicals Penetrate Human Skin to Som
Degree, and Carry Other Chemicals With Them.
DMSO and NMP penetrate the skin at about the same rate.
3. DMSO does not enhance the pentration of all substances through the
skin. Based on molecular volume, it enhances substances smaller than
octyl acetate.
NMP compositions have been patented for similar topical applications.
4. DMSO is used as a Solvent (Class 3) in the Manufacture of Many
Pharmaceuticals and it Enhances Penetration of Some Pharmaceuticals
Through the Skin.
5. DMSO Does Not Damage Cells.
6. DMSO is used as the Storage Fluid in the Cryogenic Preservation of
Human Organ Transplants.
7. DMSO is Clear and Odorless.

4. Rapid Metabolism and Excretion: Hucker, and coworkers, found that in humans, DMSO
blood concentration peaked approximately 4-5 hours after dosing and the chemical was
excreted primarily in the urine unchanged or as the DMSO2 metabolite over 5 days. DMSO
does not bioaccumulate (34).

And a lot more.
