DMSO is virtually Non-Toxic to Humans and the Environment. It has the Lowest Toxicity of any Dipolar Aprotic Solvents. DMSO is Not Unique – Most Chemicals Penetrate Human Skin to Som Degree, and Carry Other Chemicals With Them. DMSO and NMP penetrate the skin at about the same rate. 3.
