Your in an investement club?? Yet your portfolio is at it's yearly low?? And I know how bad the previous 2 years were for you.......what kind of club is this?

The "porch" was kind of an investement club, and we all saw what happened in that scenario...most porchers stuck togther and got killed riding the same stocks, strategies and etc.......I learned then that it is ok to listen and hear others opinions, but the only "club" you should rely on is yourself....seek opinions...seek differeing views, but in the end run, dont follow the crowd just because they are walking left, right or straight....walk in your own direction, after you have disemenated all the info.....JMO, and good luck....3 stocks....all of which never went down since 1991 if you bougght and sold beginning and end of year....hmmm, are you buying good solid compaanies that are immune to this economic and world turmoil and will continue to "never go down"....or are you buying after they have left the station, and may be ripe to be brought down, since they havent yet. What does each company do...what makes them immune to current conditions...what makes them unique? Will the conditions remain the same, or will they begin to change......questions to answer before buying simply because of past performance......again...JMHO...and good luck

watch out for HDI, they are attacking it for stuffing the channel and accounting issues, and of course HDI has ran far already, all of which doesn't mean there is more left to the upside in HDI, but be careful. HDI has also fallen out of it's up channel but has been bouncing along it's 50 dayline, but after today, it appears, that HDI will breach that.
