My Logitech optical mouse pointer jumps while I type, putting text in the wrong place I use the wireless Logitech optical mouse on 2 computers and have not experienced this problem yet. Is this text in a particular program or in any program? Is the situation always or just sometimes and when did it start? I have found that the optical mice have a sensitivity to the color of the surface they are operating on. Mine will not operate well on black surfaces and the instructions indicated stainless steel or chrome would not work either.
