Vic, in all fairness to the SEC they're under staffed and have been for years. One of the first things when Bush got elected was to cut the SEC budget. Believe it or not, the type of people they really want or need do not want to work for the federal government. If you were an up and comer... Would take a job at the SEC or go to work for Wall street...the ones the SEC is supposed to keep their eyes on? I'd take Wall Street in a heart beat, and you can trust me on that.
