We are free from the limitations imposed by that world, that is why you don't see any porn on SI. Prostitution is a position not an action, they are not doing anything wrong,they are in the wrong position. If they changed positions they would receive redemption. Many prostitutes would rather receive corn, wheat, silver or gold. Prostitution isn't necessarily about sex, you can prostitute yourself in a variety of ways. I do agree that prostitution is characterized by abasement. I dispute the claim that it is the oldest profession but you may be right.
