Milo - you might do well to remember a phrase which has been part of Christian thinking from the beginning - "the Devil can Cite Scripture for His Purpose"...

One of the best examples is in Matthew 4:6 (also Luke 4:9-12). The devil quotes Psalms 91:11-12. He seized a passage for his use, to serve his unholy purpose.

Jesus rebutted this with a quote from Deuteronomy, "Do not put the Lord your God to the test" (6:16).

Which advice are you following, the Lord's or that of the Devil?
