I was aggressively trading the issue on 1/30. I had no position at either the open or close.

I made a modest purchase on 2/4 at 18.53. I added to a still modest position on 2/4 at 14.95. I added to the still modest position on 2/5 at 12.87.

Context..... I have watched Elan, mostly in the context of "deal structure", since 1996 or 1997. I never approved of the practice of recording the JV royalties as revenue. However, that practice has been very transparent to me. When the stock collapsed, I looked more closely at the JVs to see if they justified an investment in ELN at the new age capitalization. I liked what I saw. I admire the leverage that they've assembled for the 2006-2010 time frame.
