Texas criminals
or
Pass the gravy bubba.

The criminals who milked public through the use of fraudulent accounting practices and doctored books really did know what they were doing.
As the story begins to unfold everyone will be amazed at how criminal these people were in intent and action.
Even though the books were doctored, so the public really was uninformed, the inner circle knew exactly how much they were stealing from each and every last cooked partnership and hidden loss.
The consultants were well aware of the incriminating record, that is why they kept shredding even after they were told to stop.

Their business of bilking the public with doctored books failed, they really never had any other business, unless you think they were shredding long term resource contracts.

My thoughts are this. The public is weary of these chest thumping dickheads that want to make everything a political event. They don't care if Ken Lay gave more money to GW's campaign or Tom Daschel's, what they care about is the entire system, Republican's and Democrats have failed them and failed them big. ENE is not the only company out there and there is much more pain in this arena that will be felt before this is all over.

IMO the party that want to run around playing partisan blaming the other party will in the end lose and lose huge. Presently it is being perceived that this is the Democrat's way of coping with ENE.

The party that is perceived to be digging through the shit and getting to the heart of the matter will be the big winner. I think the Republican's and a handful of Democrats are fitting that bill.

We shall see.
