GTL+ is an electrical standard not a bus protocol. The P6 bus protocol performs arbitration for resources to prevent collisions and assigns priorities for bus requests, among other things. The P6 bus protocol was described in an article in Microprocessor Reports back some time in 1995.

The GTL (Gunn Transistor Logic) came from Xerox, as I recall, and the "+" was designed by Intel.
