Also note remarks like

Sorry, I'm not very fanatic about Linux. When it happens,
well, I'll adapt. FWIW I'm not fanatic about Solaris either.
Yet, as of today, if you were looking for a big iron
SMP Unix, Linux probably won't cut mustard.

In some areas, Linux sure beats the crap out of Solaris.
