A friend of mine writes for Cush's daily speculator rag and is there. The first story filed on The Star was an apologetic piece by Jim Byers for which I ripped off a rant to the nearest editor link I could find. Said if it was BS you should call it BS and perhaps call for action as well. Bourne and Kraatz obviously haven't a chance and should take their time and take those five flags out on the ice and cut them to shreds with their skates. Sent a copy of my rant to my friend who had written a balanced article and he probably thinks I'm more nuts now as the column is now in the data netherlands. The media must love this, they can write it and take it away. Canada and the US should also stand up to the IOC on that stupid shoot out rule in hockey. You keep playing the same game until somebody wins, you don't stop the game and change the rules just because it is still tied. Thanks for the rant space Cush. Go Gold! Bob
