re: Notice the Bid creeping up - and without any volume increase

Yeah. There are many theories about that.

1) Somebody close to the company knows good stuff is happening, so is buying up shares a little at a time so they won't cause a buying panic, which would make each share more expensive for them to buy. That means that the stock will continue to creep up until those in the know run out of investing dollars.

Or,

2) Even after the good Qtrly report and the recent addition to the "senior executive" staff, there aren't very many investors who care enough to go on a buying spree. Which means that, before too long, those adventuresome few who are buying above market will tire of the game, and the stock will return to its rightful resting point.

The part that always worries me about "Creeping stock prices" is that somebody is always willing to sell just a few pennies higher than current market price. So, they must think they've made as much as they can without the undue risk involved with holding on. If somebody REALLY wanted to buy, they wouldn't concern themselves with just a few pennies differential.

At any rate, with such small trading volume, the stock doesn't appear to have solid footing.

Market psychology. Fascinating ...
