Nice situation for the US. The rest of the world sends them food, products and resources and in return the US sends out little pieces of green paper.

I agree with what you say. Maybe I should not have used the word collapse, but rather devaluation. Cause the USD will always exist and will be king for a long time

This devaluation will take place against gold exactly for the reasons you mentioned. Too much people owns it.. they can print (digitally or else) at will ..etc
