I have fear with my short trades.

I do also. I fear them to the point that I watch them like a hawk and watch the chart waiting for any indication I should cover. I've not been caught by a halted stock yet (knock on wood and I am sure some day I will) but I don't take big hits on shorts because I don't let it happen.

So now splain to me why it is I'm not that careful and am sometimes downright careless with long positions?

And to add to your fear. The 10 wk MA for the NYSE (TWNYSE)reversed to X's yesterday. However, TWOTC is solid O's. DWA write-up for Monday was not very positive on the market, citing that there was more downside risks than upside.
