Dynacor contracts G ologica to investigate Tumipampa

Thu 14 Feb 2002

Mr. Marc Blais reports
TUMIPAMPA PROJECT (PERU): INDEPENDENT EVALUATION OF THE GEO ...
Dynacor Mines has awarded a contract to an independent geological
consulting firm G ologica Groupe Conseil Inc. to carry out a geological
evaluation of the Tumipampa properties in Peru.
The contract calls for G ologica to, following a field trip to the
properties, give an independent assessment of the geological potential and
detail further exploration work that needs to be done on the properties
that cover a total surface area of 700 hectares (seven square kilometres).
The properties are located approximately 500 kilometres southeast of Lima
on the eastern side of the Oriental cordillera of the Peruvian Andes at an
altitude of 4,500 metres.
Exploration of the properties to date has enabled Dynacor to identify
several hydrothermal gold-bearing veins intersecting several sedimentary
formations that are in contact with a porphyritic granodioritic intrusive
locally altered and enriched in copper and gold. The copper/gold porphyry
has been identified at several locations on the property. It has been
altered locally (argillic alteration in particular at the outer limits of
the intrusive), fractured and brecciated which are the results of
significant hydrothermal mineralization processes.
Private placement completed
In January, 2002, Dynacor completed a small private placement for $50,400
which led to the issuing of 280,000 ordinary shares at a unit price of 18
cents. The funds will be used for the normal operations of the company.
