Yes, in some areas. Japan somewhat weak unless they get government help. The rest of pacific basin is growing.

Overall sounds like business is improving and they are giving clear guidance which also says something. Not a spike up but a steady uptrend.

Interesting to hear their comments about how they feel demand for some areas of braodband is there and even money is available but CEOs are sitting on it until they absolutely have to order.

A constant refrain: "Things are back to normal."

That is what I heard -- but orders are not sales -- orders can get cancelled.

I only listened once to the call -- but I thought I heard it said at one point that customers order things to get in line for delivery in case they want equipment, but then cancel the orders if it turns out that they do not really want them after all -- a sort of "just in case" order that does not mean you actually want to buy, but you want the option to buy and take delivery -- does that make sense?
