craig, if the US wants to do business in europe, they have to pay appropriate taxes. big deal. this paranoia stuff is ridiculous to thinking people. US invades sovereign nation and sets up its own approved govt. iow, the US did whatever it wanted to and NOBODY was going to stop us b/c we have the big stick. just like i said we would. your paradigm would have the US shrinking away and sucking off the UN to get directions. WRONG. i have no reason to believe my view is not correct - the US will do what it wants, when it wants, how it wants when the stakes are high.
