I don't think you can conclude that because 2001 Q1 revenues were significantly higher that 2001 Q4 and AMAT can have revenue growth of 10-15% every quarter ,sequentially, and still be off 25% on revenue for the YEAR as a whole.

What P/S level does AMAT deserve at this point in the cycle?

Considering it is a cyclical play, I'd guess three times sales would be a generous multiple.

Lone Star, Just compare the relationship of AMAT's EPS with its price, It is amazing the inverse collation.

AMAT has always zigged when you think it is going to zagg. Buyer beware.
