Tom, that's a good commentary [I suppose because I agree with it].

Governments around the world play fast and loose with other people's money. The USA has attracted investment of my savings because [among other reasons] the courts tend to enforce property rights and the government has no special powers other than to change the laws, which might be declared unconstitutional by the courts if they deem the government got it wrong.

The USA is not the richest country on earth by accident. It's not because Americans are smarter or work harder than anyone else. Property rights are the key.

It's great to see all these think-tank bodies which watch what governments do.

The jealous attack on Microsoft and $ill Gates made me nervous, but that seems to be getting pushed aside as a bad idea. Business and individuals are allowed to compete and succeed and make a LOT of money in the USA.
