Record Leverage = new high. New highs = positive momentum. It will turn down eventually- but who's to say when?

also, inventory for cars is tricky since you're trading for new with old. they don't count the increase in the latter. I've been shopping around, and the used inventory at some of the dealers and repo centers are up over 100% since the first of the year, with many of the cars only 1-3 years old. at first glance, it looks like a lot of people are dumping small cars, esp. Honda Civics, for SUVs.
