Re: IBM is killing Sun's ass right now, in servers. Took them a while, but they're taking it all back. I agree with you that IBM is doing a lot better than SUN lately, but don't underestimate the staying power of the legions of the BSD Empire. True, they've lost some of the more distant provinces to the barbarians, but it will still be some years before the barbarians are at the gates of SUN herself. And there's a fairly large number of well positioned IT people who see it in exactly those terms. :-)
